NPAYOF family safety programme

Play safe.
Be safe.

A family day where fun opens the door to important conversations—helping children play confidently, parents feel informed and communities grow safer together.

Why the day matters

Safety conversations children can enjoy.

Embark on a thrilling family adventure at “Play Safe, Be Safe”! This community summer event raises awareness to help reduce knife crime, gang-related harm and antisocial behaviour. Hosted in collaboration with the Community Gang Unit, community police, Hackney Council’s enforcement team, Arsenal and Leyton Orient community football representatives, health teams, Playbus and youth engagement officers from different organisations, the event supports more than 150 participants with valuable guidance from inspiring speakers, councillors, police and professionals. Families can also win raffle prizes and enjoy hot meals. Experience past events in our videos below and explore upcoming activities tailored for you!
